Climate Change Resilience: Return from Exile (Rosh Hashana 5782)
"In the face of catastrophic climate change, humanity as a whole faces its greatest existential challenge. To survive this present threat, we must become resilient people and communities by becoming Human Beings once again. We have lost our Human Nature, because we removed ourselves from the innate right relationship as a part of nature."
This sermon was delivered on Erev Rosh Hashana 5782 (September 6, 2021), at the Camp Newman Retreat Center in Sonoma County, CA, as part of Wilderness Torah's earth-based Rosh Hashanah journey of celebration, reflection, and renewal.
